Funding initiatives:
Building the Future Together

We are proud to share that we have secured matched funding from Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada (ISED)’s Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF). This support has allowed CMIE to create a Development Fund, enabling us to invest in Canadian programs led by industry leaders and emerging innovators.

The Canadian Medical Isotope Ecosystem Development Fund (CMIEDF), aims to forge collaborations and partnerships that advance medical isotope supply and technologies for enhanced radiotherapeutics and radiodiagnostics.

In the spirit of industry collaboration, the CMIE will leverage the Canadian Nuclear Isotope Council to support the delivery of the CMIEDF.

First round of funding: We have allocated our first round of funding to support five transformative projects. These initiatives represent the cornerstone of our commitment to fostering innovation and research excellence in the medical isotope sector.
