Main

Our annual CMIE symposium is a chance to gather all URs of the CMIEDF to discuss project progress, goals, and challenges. The symposium will serve as a platform for stakeholders from across the nation to come together, celebrate achievements, and envision the future of the medical isotope sector in Canada. This is a great opportunity to meet SMEs in the field, to network, collaborate, and discuss the latest advancements and commercialization strategies in this rapidly growing sector.

Engage with Canadian medical isotope companies who have been successful in raising capital within Canada and beyond. Tour the world’s largest cyclotron and better understand opportunities for collaboration with TRIUMF Innovations. Hear from experts at CPDC regarding CMC and GMP considerations for commercial scale up and manufacturing of medical isotope programs. Learn about the second largest MITACs grant in Canada focused on building a radiopharmaceutical talent pipeline. There will also be discussions on the future of Radiopharma, and how to grow and commercialize in this rapidly expanding field. Through these discussions, we aim to address the challenges and set new goals for the future.

This symposium is a great opportunity for academics, institutions, and start-up companies interested in learning about how to expedite and streamline commercialization of their medical isotope programs should attend this meeting. Investors, companies, and individuals interested in learning more about the medical isotope sector within Canada are also encouraged to join.
